Patnitop or Patni Top, is a hill top tourist location in Udhampur district on the National Highway 1A, on the way from Udhampur to Srinagar.If one is aiming to get away from it all for some time, this place is hard to beat.

Just 112 kms from Jammu, this famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2004 meters. In winter, the resort is generally covered with a thick mantle of snow thus providing opportunities for various snow games including skiing. Huts and Tourist Bungalows of JKTDC are ideally situated among tall pine trees on a plateau covered carpet of grass. All rooms are well furnished. The Tourist Bungalow has a well stocked bar serving imported wines & liquor - It also has a Billiards room & Table Tennis. There is a Conference hall with capacity of 150 persons. Restaurant at the complex serves Indian food of choice including authentic Kashmiri cuisine.
